What are Special Advisories?

Special Advisories issued by Atlantic Cyclones™

Only issued if environmental conditions warrant for an immediate action message. Most Special Advisories are issued on Tropical Disturbances that have not formed yet, but still pose threat to life or property (causing tropical cyclone like conditions, despite formation). The only time a Special Advisory would be issued on a formed Tropical Cyclone would be if a Advisory (off schedule) should be issued. For instance, if a Cyclone is making, made or if it is nearing landfall.
